Hello, I just recently sold my ipad mini 2 in ebay and I'm wondering how to ship my ipad mini with its box. What priority mail box do I need to ship the iPad Mini 2 safely? Should I use a Small flat rate box or medium one? Please inform me asap, this is my first ever item sold in ebay and I'm not used into shipping using a box.? Thanks for those who answered. :):D

Ipad Mini Retina Shipping help via USPS?

I'm fairly certain a medium flat rate (the rectangular one) would fit the bill well enough, but of course you'll also want to add some kind of cushioning. Otherwise, you could try to grab a suitable box somewhere else and probably save a couple of bucks shipping it priority mail, cost determined by weight/dimensions. Either way, generate your label via ebay and you'll save a little!

For an iPad, the Flat Rate box is not the way to go. Flat Rate is good for small but heavy items. The iPad with its box is medium sized and light.

Just look around for a box that is sturdily constructed and has room for the iPad plus lots of padding material. Then ship it insured Priority (not Flat Rate). You will save shipping $$ and have a better protected iPad.

The best box is the original box it came in. Then putting that into another box just slightly larger than the original box. Double box it no matter what. This will help prevent any damage to the mini should someone put pressure on it or load lots of packages on it at the post office. It will also help prevent any damage should it get dropped in its travels.

I have been using this method for the 15 years I have been selling on Ebay and have never had anything damaged.
