iPad mini iPad Mini to HDMI

Hi Guys,

I use Netflix a lot lately and so are my parents. They don't have smart-tv, so I was wondering if it was possible to use my iPad mini to connect it to the tv with HDMI.

I found some info and with the proper cable it should be possible to see video's and pictures on the tv. But on the demo (youtube) they use a video from the "Photo's" gallery of the iPad. Can i assume it's possible to play Netflix from the iPad using an HDMI (connector) and display it onto the tv?

If you don't get an answer here (and I don't know the answer for sure) I'd try the netflix site. I want to say that's an app-level enabled feature, so they should know.

Yes you can mirror your screen and it will play the audio through your TV speakers. Should work with the hdmi to lightning connector. 😉

another option is chrome cast. very affordable and works swimmingly, probably cheaper than the hdmi cable
