Newbie Android kind of defector here. Finally my shipment of a 32GB slate LTE has moved to preparing for shipment, along with its smartcover and nano SIM that I needn't have ordered.
Fingers crossed for any day next week.
I'm having a guess at units bought alone are being direct / drop shipped from China whilst those bundled with cases, SIMs etc are being consolidated in the UK.

yup that's right "merge in transit" they call it.
mine is via TNT also est 5 December, goto the US TNT website to track you getslotted more detail,rouse the iphone app called parcel.

forgot to say my one with engraving on it is still preparing of shipment.
Payment has just been taken for my order (I got the robocall from my credit card company), which ISTR is the first sign of movement from the dreaded "processing items" status. "Delivers 26 Nov, 2012 - 03 Dec, 2012" may actually happen!
Shipped - delivery estimate December 10th.
What is it being shipped in, a canoe?
32GB White Wifi + LTE, its at the airport, due at my desk by the 6th of December!
Kinda glad it is not coming this week, as my birthday is on Monday, so it gives me time to appreciate whatever my wife gets me, instead of playing with my mini all day!

So pre-ordering was a complete waste of time.
I could have picked one up at an Apple Store today but I now have to wait until next Wednesday to take delivery of the one I pre-orderd no less than FIVE weeks ago because it's sitting at Pudong Airport in China waiting for a flight! It's marked as shipped therefore cannot be cancelled.
What a farce Apple! I am not impressed.

Yep! Just walked into Apple store Manchester, walked out with a 64gb Black LTE mini!
I preordered at 0801 first day, still no movement on mine.
On the plus side, the Mini is awesome! On the minus side there's a big silver ding in the bezel right below the home button
. When I get my preordered Mini, assuming its good nick, I'll return this for a refund and keep the preorder. Meanwhile, I'm going to have fun with this ding or not
Congratulations! They are brilliant; I had two weeks use of the Wi-Fi model before returning it to await the arrival of the cellular model, and enjoyed it a lot.
Concerned to hear that Quality Control issues have not yet been resolved though.
