iPad mini iPad Mini - UK LTE Thread

mine arrived just about an hour ago. the girlfriend will love it. if it doesn't get me laid i don't know what will. (well i do but diamonds are a bit pricier)
 
Mine was supposed to be delivered yesterday and then today. Both days i arranged for someone to wait in. TNT are now claiming no one was home and they left a card! Which they did not!! So now it's going back to Apple.

This morning my order suddenly updated to "est. delivery 6 December" (from 10th) with UPS. UPS report it as "out for delivery" and scheduled delivery "by end of day".

Now is that a normal end of day, or as in "delivers end of November" sometime next week? We had the "Autumn statement" yesterday, so maybe there's a trend here :eek:

Arrived a couple of hours ago! Fully charged too, which is a nice touch.

Cut down a SIM card with (so far) no problems.

:D

Oh, one problem I had. I needed to know the MAC to add it to my WiFi network, but it's not written anywhere on the packaging. You seemingly can't find it out until you've registered it, but you can't register it without a net connection....

Just tell them to bring it again or collect it yourself!

Status updated to "Delivery scheduled by final carrier, see estimated delivery date" which is 11/12. Any chance to have it before? Anyone getting same status?

Unfortunately thats not an option. I was thinking of going to an apple store to buy one but i've decided to stick with my ipad 2 for now. I think the mini might be too small for what i'll be using it for.
 
Good luck mate, you waited long enough :)

I'm really enjoying mine over the last 2 days, the waiting was totally worth it, and i'm glad i waited for the LTE version too. Was reading 4-4-2 on the way to work this morning, and managed to stream southpark on netflix on the way home last night.

and i didnt need to take a bag with me either day!

No idea why you wouldn't just get it redelivered or go and collect it. Very odd decision if you actually want one.

Rip off. £10 from T-Mobile directly

iPhone Micro Sim and just download a template from the internet and cut with a sharp pair of scissors to fit. Worked for me.

Still nothing here and cant even track it. Being delivered by Syncreon but none of my numbers work on their site or uk mail.

Yep purchased one directly off t mobile for my old iphone 4s.
What bloody pain going through the steps to get the 12 months free internet activated.
 
Finally got mine and its a dream. No non retina vs retina nonsense this resolution fits the screen size perfectly. Have I caned my 3G oh yes !
