Good guess! Keep in mind though, sometime late this month or early November, Apple offers extended Holiday returns. Way beyond 14 days
I'll jump on the Air Nov. 1 at BB for no interest up to 18 months and my return period is extended anyway since I'm a Silver Rewards Member.
For extended return period otherwise for the holidays, that usually happens around Nov 15th at Best Buy.
I hope the Mini doesn't get launched for at least two weeks after the Air, this way I can get a good feel for the Air. To jump back and forth between the two would be nice but not as productive for comparison purposes personally for me. I'll still have the Air anyway whenever the Mini is released.
