$40 savings is the price of a case and an extra charging cable on Amazon

Hell, if you think it's not a big enough saving, get the refurb and 40 bucks worth of iTunes vouchers,

I'm sure $40 worth if "free" iTunes purchases are appealing. 😀

Hey, $40 is still $40. Those refurbs are good as new, and you can get a case w/ the money you save as well as a gift card. I was going to get a brand new white 32GB mini, but this might make me change my mind.

Trying to get mint condition ipad mini base model on craigslist.

People crazy. Trying to sell them used for $300-310.

I tell them $299 with 12 month warranty (plus taxes) for official Apple refurbished models. About $318 for me with taxes.

But I guess they want some suckers who don't know about the refurbished models.

Still $329 plus taxes. That's about $345. It's a used electronic item and they are thinking they can still get 90% of it's value after 6 months.

Look at ebay prices. With exception of international shipping. Most go for $290-320 used ipad mini(than subtract ebay fees). Net is around $270-290.

Cases/smart covers mean nothing to most people. They always try to say it's worth $50. If it's worth $50, than try to sell it for $50 and still if you can even get $15 for it.

gotta look at it from a percentage stand point. it's almost 10% the cheaper models. not as good as some of the 15-18% deals, but still not bad with full factory warranty.
