iPad mirror via Chromecast?

I don't have an Apple TV so I'm wondering if I can mirror my iPad mini screen to a TV (just a regular TV display, not a smart TV.) via Chromecast? I have an app that doesn't have chromecast capabilities, so I just want to display my entire screen. Possible?

Not as far as I know. You can send from various apps, like Hulu+, Netflix, YouTube, Pandora and maybe some others but not just a mirror of the screen.

Jailbreak and use displayout from cydia. I think that will accomplish what you are looking for.

I don't know if there is such thing as "AllCast" on iOS's jailbreak scene. I just bought a new iPad, coming from a Nexus 7 owner, and I can suggest that.
