iPad not fully charging

I have an iPad 3G 64 and it's great. Except when I place it in the dock at night to charge, it seems to stop charging at 60%. I don't have this problem when I don't use the dock. Any direct power source seems to charge the battery fine..

Sounds like a defective dock to me.
