Our iPad 3 has recently developed an issue; Sometimes it doesn't shut off, which drains the battery.

I have it set to shut off after 2 minutes, and most of the time it does, but every now and then it just stays on.

Is this aroblem that will require an exchange? I hope. Not.

Anyone else have this issue, and what is the fix?

Thank you

Sounds more like a software issue. Try resetting the device by holding power+home until it reboots.

Definitely a software issue, if all fails do a restore from iTunes and it should resolve it
