iPad order shipped earlier than expected.

According to the Yahoo FedEx tracking, my iPad is still in TA YUAN HSIANG today...

EDIT: I lied, according to PackageTrackr.com it is in my town (as the phone system is saying) and it will come tomorrow! WOO.
 
Listen, I dint appriciate lying when my iPad is floating around somewhere in fed-ex land🙂 that's awesome though I'm glad it's almost home.
 
It looks like Apple shipped a shipment of them earlier than expected. Mine wasn't supposed to ship till the 11th. It hopefully should ship soon for you though.

EDIT: Just called the FedEx International Services and they said my iPad left Taiwan at 8:00 PM their time. Guess our shipments won't be here today.
 
This is crap!!! the status remains the same but the deleted it the "estimate delivery: june 9th" this is crap!!! im so pissed right now, my sister's coming tomorrow and shes not gonna bring my damn iPad that I ordered in may 26th.... omg omg im so angry, 🙁

Dang! I ordered my 64GB 3G on May 30th and apple still shows an estimated ship date of 6/15 and the status still hasn't changed. The good thing is once it hits the FedEx Memphis hub, it should be delivered the next day since I'm only 2 1/2 hours away from there...
 
I ordered a 32GB 3G on June 6th (trying to qualify for the unlimited plan) and it says it won't arrive until June 24th. They might as well say 2011 for how long 2 1/2 weeks feels waiting for this thing. I hope it magically makes me forget I had to wait so long. It's been a painful 4 days already and I've still got 15 to go. Ugh.

I'm sorry. 🙁 Mine has left Taiwan early this morning according to the Yahoo tracker. PackageTracker says it's in town (which it's not), and phone now says Taiwan... Fun stuff.

Yeah, this is crap. I haven't been home because Im at the fire house, but I just checked yahoo and it says mine is still in China as well. I still have an estimated delivery of the 9th. I guess that won't happen. Thanks fed ex. Whats their slogan, "the world on time" Yeah right.
 
My iPad just hit United States soil! I'm guessing Friday or Monday delivery.

AT&T for iPad: Another Rip

I bought the iPad hardware on May 21. The hardware was delivered to my home on June 8, conveniently one day after the unlimited for $29.99 went away.

I spent several hours trying to reason with AT&T phone reps today, but they don't think they have a problem. I don't have service

Anybody interested in a class action lawsuit? If you didn't get the service you bought the iPad for, think about it. I'm checking out a law firm that beat AT&T in the past. I'll call them right after I get in touch with the Federal Trade Commission. You should do this too, if you think AT&T broke a contract when they cheated you.

i ordered mine 64gb,3G last night and it says estimate delivery time...JUNE 30th.....
if i don't get it delivered by the 27th....i won't get it till the end of august!!! coz i am flying off by the 28th.
i hope they ship earlier, are they usually slow at shipping to TORONTO?
 
I ordered my 32GB 3G on May 28th right before the 3 day holiday (sigh)and it's supposed to ship on the 14th. It has been sitting there at "Not Shipped Yet" the entire time (I check everyday) until yesterday when it said "Prepared for Shipment". It's been prepared for shipment for over a a day now. How long does it stay that way until you actually receive a tracking number? Once I can finally get a tracking number then I can plan my life for that day. Please ship Paddy, pleaz?

Check Yorkdale in Toronto and put your name down on the reserve list. As of yesterday Yorkdale had 64GB 3G in stock. Once you get it in store, you just cancel your online order (before it ships) so you aren't charged. I cancelled my online order as there is a better chance to get it in store before end of June (I had ship date June 21, delivery June 28).
 
Just came back from the best buy in lincoln square. They had a few 64 gb wifi models. I then walked over to the upper west side apple store. I looked for any case (they had nothing). I asked if they had a 3g version, and they said no. They did have 32 and 64 gb wifi ipads in stock.


canceled my online order.
 
Mine arrived early this morning! Been playing around with it for a couple hours and I am absolutely loving it. Signing off from this thread, good luck to everyone who doesn't have their iPad yet. You will absolutely love it. 😀

Originally my 16GB 3G version said "ship June 10, receive June 15" but what happened was "ship June 6, receive June 10"-- woo! it is by my feet in the box waiting for me to finish work and take it home.

Just checked my order status at apple.com and the iPad has moved from "not shipped yet" status to "prepared for ship." I ordered on 5/30 and it was scheduled to ship on 5/15 so I guess this is good news.

If it means it's being shipped in the Continental US, then I should have the iPad by Monday or Tuesday... If's being shipped from China then I guess it will take a little longer...

I picked up a travel netbook case to try until the Apple case arrives. We'll see how it works out...
 
My 32GB+3G was ordered on 27 May with a 11 June ship and 16 June delivery.

Three days ago it went to "ready for shipment" and has been there ever since. I am also heading out on vacation next week and hope that it arrives before we go!
