Looking for something useful to do with my original iPad. Picasa Web used to work perfectly with Google Photos. But even that recently has gone completely kaput. Google photos no longer allows older web browsers to authenticate.

I can hardly get even the App Store to stay running. Looks like the reboot/force closed got me another run at finding something.

I have searched many times over the years for a list of what works, and just searched for a current thread...sorry if this was just discussed...but usually the lists are several years old at best and themselves useless.

Picture slideshow is the goal, but am looking for suggestions of what will interface an online gallery like something at SmugMug.

Anybody else trying to find a current solution?

Thanks!!

Using Original iPad in 2019 is like using a Windows 98 machine in 2019. You really cannot use anything internet related anymore. However, if you have a home server or NAS setup, you can let your original iPad to access that storage using Safari or whatnot with all your photos stored inside.

Aside from that, original iPad can sometimes become a nice eBook reader.

Thanks for the replies. After I read the above, I dug deeper and found that the app that wouldn’t work with Google Photos (Picasa), does still work with Smumug. So, iPad 1 is alive and serving a purpose again.
