You need to put abnormal pressure on the back with a white screen present to even attempt to reproduce the distortion.

As for the sound, I use a smart case and don't feel them, but then I also mainly use headphones when using my iPad to watch video or play games.

Do you think it is normal that I have to buy the smart case (79 Euros) or to use the headphones to avoid the vibrations? About the screen I'm talking about the back lite problems (like less light near some borders).

My Air 2 is flawless, I have to press the back ridiculously hard to cause distortions and the vibrations are vastly over exaggerated. As for light leak or back light problems, I have never had or seen either issue on all four of my iPads.

I use and enjoy my devices, not whine about reasons not to buy them while missing out on great apps and a great product. Sorry.

Same.

I think some people forget that speakers need to vibrate to generate sound in the first place.
 
People are using their devices longer and not upgrading as often.

I would hope that more people are becoming aware that their hardware is good for 5 to 6 years if not longer and The main factors in upgrade decisions boil down to software support by Apple and if the battery is still functioning normally.

Being in IT I'm fortunate in that when users in my company request the latest iPhones/iPads, I get to evaluate and try them out. 99% of the time I can find no valid reason to warrant purchasing a new iPhone or iPad myself. Still using a 5s and quite happy with it. Same goes for my iPad Mini 2 and my wife with her 5s, Ipad 2 and iPad Mini 1.

But the same cannot be said for the users at work, sadly. These entitled, special snowflakes seem to experience mysterious 'slowdowns' or breakage right before the new iDevice is released. Without fail. They whine incessantly about how the device's slow response is killing them, hurting their productivity. Yet these same employees actually buy their old devices when the company offers them for sale. It all makes sense though, the typical American consumer is a hypocrite.
