Has anyone noticed that some have much better batteries then others.

My 16g same setting and work takes a hour to get off 100 % with a full charge but my 32 drops much quicker.

    Anyone?

Why do you have two by the way? lol I've read there's a difference between the wifi and 3G models but two models of wifi should be the same.

I bought 3 one for me the other 2 for my kids.
I do see a big difference in battery life in mine.

Interesting. I have 2x64GB 3G's coming and can compare those to the wifi version I've been using ("borrowed" liberally from a family member...)

Yes please do as my 16g was great it had at least a hour of surfing before it hit 99%, the 32 drops in 10 minutes.

BTW same exact settings on both? Thinking about things like email check times, push, location svcs, bluetooth, screen brightness, etc.

I haven't paid much attention to when it goes from 100% to 99%, but mine seems to drop around 10% every hour during constant use.

could be related to the constant power required to maintain flash memory

2 32GB Wi-Fi. One for the wife and one for me. No difference at all in the battery life.

So how do you test if your battery is good or not? Continuously use it with a timer until it shuts off?

short of removing it and testing the battery, yes you would need to time your battery life.

Well that seems about right, no? 10% in one hour means 100% in 10 hours, which is what is advertised. I know some people get 11-12 hours but who knows how they are using it and what their brightness settings are at.

Either way, my wife has a 32GB WiFi and I have a 16GB 3G coming so I will see if I notice any differences when comparing WiFi vs WiFi.
