All iPads Ipad possible without wifi?

Friend has an iPhone on sprint unlimited 3G. No wireless network. If she wanted to get an ipad, is there a way to mooch off of her 3G iPhone connection, or any other way to get Internet without the wifi network? I mean, without buying a data plan for a 3G ipad.

If she has tethering on her phone...yes.
If its not enabled, i would suggest jailbreaking it and downloading MyWi.

Sure if she has tethering enabled on her account

Go into settings and see if you can enable 'Personal Hotspots'. If you can, then you can tether via WiFi or Bluetooth.

She would still have to get a plan that allowed her phone to be used with the phone 4. Some carriers require a plan to tether. Some do not allow It at all.

Just go through the steps I mentioned. If the personal hotspot option is enabled, it will work. Otherwise you won't see the option.
