I left my ipad 3 for 5 hours on standby and when i clicked the power button, at 1st it did not turn on but the 2nd time i clicked, it turned on. Is it normal? :) Thanks!

Return it, I kid. No that is not normal. Maybe you think you pressed it and maybe just touched it our something.

Before you "return it" are you sure you pushed the button all the way. I usually use the "home" button to wake up my iPad.

Sometimes something weird happens waking. Has happened by times with every iPhone I've had and both my iPad 1 and new one. Sometimes the second press even flicks it on briefly then blank again. It's rare and never happens twice in a row :) must be something happening at the moment you press power.

Happens.

But if it happens all the time that wouldnt be normal.

Since I started using the home button to wake I havent noticed it either.

I wish it had a swipe bezel-to-bezel feature like the Playbook to "wake" up the iPad, so I can save my buttons on the iPad and perhaps extend its life. Meh what am I talking about, I'll most likely have sold this before the next new iPad comes out lol :p
