I left my ipad 3 for 5 hours on standby and when i clicked the power button, at 1st it did not turn on but the 2nd time i clicked, it turned on. Is it normal? 🙂 Thanks!

Before you "return it" are you sure you pushed the button all the way. I usually use the "home" button to wake up my iPad.😕

Sometimes something weird happens waking. Has happened by times with every iPhone I've had and both my iPad 1 and new one. Sometimes the second press even flicks it on briefly then blank again. It's rare and never happens twice in a row 🙂 must be something happening at the moment you press power.

Happens.

But if it happens all the time that wouldnt be normal.

Since I started using the home button to wake I havent noticed it either.

I wish it had a swipe bezel-to-bezel feature like the Playbook to "wake" up the iPad, so I can save my buttons on the iPad and perhaps extend its life. Meh what am I talking about, I'll most likely have sold this before the next new iPad comes out lol 😛
