iPad pre-order tonight? or tomorrow night?

I'm confused - some folks have said that the pre-orders begin 12AM PST on 10/26...does that mean tonight? Because technically, in a few hours, it is 12AM on 10/26. 😉

According to an Apple specialist I had a chat session with, the upcoming pre-order is for WiFi models only.
