iPad pre-orderers: did anyone get stiffed?

Was anyone who ordered an iPad told that Apple was out when they arrived on time to the Apple store? Just wondering, because if so, it's probably going to happen again this time.

I do not think that as many people that are buying the iPhone bought the iPad.
