iPad Preorder Canada - iPad microSIM included. Does this mean we're locked to Rogers?

I know we're not normally, but if we select Rogers microSIM for another twenty cents at checkout are we locked to that. For that price I just got it anyway, but I don't want Rogers preferably. No 3G where I live.

Hope Bell offers similar plans!

No it has nothing to do with locking the iPad. Currently, Rogers is the only Canadian carrier that will have microSIMs. Once Bell and Telus have them too, you will likely see them added as SIM options under Rogers, which is how the UK pre-order page is setup.

I will be looking for one of these sims when I get to Canada in July, so I hope the supply chain and/or competitor's sim cards are ready to buy 'off the shelf' by then 😀
