Just saw the new deal in Bestbuy $125 off. Missed the last one when it was $100 off, but I guess now I really can't pass on it. Probably will get price matched in Target + 5% off redcard.

Currently with mini 4 and debated for a while if to move up in size. Thoughts?

I think you’d be happy with it! I personally think the iPad Mini is a tad too small, though I’ve never used it personally, only in stores. $125 off is a really good deal and think you should go for it.

I paid full price for it back at the beginning of July, but it was worth it. Could’ve got a free Apple Pencil though!

Does anyone know how long this deal will last? I'm seriously considering buying my first iPad to take advantage of some GRE prep apps and learning foreign languages available on the App Store, but this deal seems like the perfect timing for me. The problem is, I currently already have a SP3 i3 version that I use for notetaking at university and I don't know whether to keep it still or consider selling it on craigslist.

I bought IPP 10.5 from Best Buy last week, paid $570 after price match with another retailer. Today I went to Best Buy (to buy Smart Keyboard) and they agreed to do another price match for $525. The $125 off is a great deal, it’s like Black Friday. Now, I”m gonna prep my Air2 to sell on Swappa.

Just think, in 2010, the iPad was introduced at a base price of $500, essentially the same price as this iPad Pro offering. That 2010 model had:

16GB storage vs 64 GB
250 mb memory vs 4GB
A4 system on a chip vs A10X processor
No camera vs Front and Rear cameras
1.5 lbs vs 1lb
.5in thick vs .25in thick
9.7 in standard display vs 10.5 in Retina display
2 speakers vs 4 speakers
30 pin connector vs lightning port
No smart connector for ASK
No pencil support
No Touch ID
No Auto Sleep/Wake
No Siri

Even the most cynical iPad critic would have to agree that there has been substantially improvement since initial release, with very little price increase.

Also just about no competition.

So tempting. But I'm hoping for the regular iPad (2017) to go on sale to $225 on Black Friday.

Something must be UP for the IPPs. Sounds to me like they are cleaning out the inventory for something imminent! All electronic go on sale when they are about to become Legacy Tech.

Now it is $150 off most pro models, and if you order a 12.9” you get a free Apple Pencil. Too good to resist, so Xmas just came early for me. It gets written up as $250 off the 12.9 iPad if you put Apple Pencil in your cart first. And my BB card gave me 18 mo interest free. Smoking deal!

i doubt the ipad will see anything new for another 6 months. the iphone x is the main attraction through the holidays, this is just to include people who aren’t in the market for new smartphones.

even if you’re right and an a11 ipad is ready by new year’s... it’s still a good deal.

iow, don’t be a buzz kill, let us early holiday shoppers enjoy this ;)
