The best battery life I have seen on IOS device. So far 10:40 use, 47 hours 15 min stand by, and still have 23% left. Wow!
What is your brightness?
[doublepost=1497579559][/doublepost]I am very impressed with my 12.9 inch battery life. So far on Day 2 we have 6 hour 30 minutes use with 60% left

40% or so.
Not bad, I have mine set to auto brightness although so far in my room even with the lights on the screen doesn't go above 45% I'd say judging by the slider. Very nice longevity here considering the A10X's power and Promotion 120hz display, which probably running way less then I think but I spend most of my time in Safari and boi is scrolling buttery.

I feel like mine is about the same as the 9.7 was, but I restored from backup. Also, I'm only on my second full charge, so I might still be in the conditioning phase.

Battery life seems pretty good, but has anyone else got iOS 11 installed? I'm wondering if others have problems with the battery tracking in this early beta. Even when I charge to 100% I don't get a time since last charge usage number, and the apps I've used in the past 24 hours don't seem accurate as they only add up to about four hours worth. I'm at 30% and I know I've used it way more than that since charging yesterday morning. Hopefully T-Mobile isn't sucking my battery like my iPhone when I'm connecting to WiFi because I only get one bar, rarely two here at work because the walls are thick and we don't have the new Band 12 spectrum yet. I figured my iPhone is constantly polling the network because of phone service, but my iPad wouldn't poll very often when on WiFi since it's just data. Anybody know how that works? And I know it's T-Mobile's fault on my phone because my iPhone 7 battery took a dive right after switching from Verizon.

I would suggest turning off cellular data on the iPad while at work, then it won't search for signal ever. I'm pretty sure you are spot on though with the iOS 11 beta being the culprit with those issues in the battery settings. That's life with beta, and the first developer build at that!

I have to say, the battery life hasn't blown me away so far. I just unpacked mine earlier, it was at 68% out of the box. I installed some stuff and played one (1) Hearthstone game and it got just under 50%.

I'll see more tomorrow. Otherwise, I really like the tablet, but browsing in Safari is not that much better compared to my old Mini 2. There's still the "freeze frame" effect when switching into it, and it still stutters when scrolling.

Other observations - I got iOS 11 (the primary reason for getting this iPad), and the night mode switch is nowhere to be found. I looked in the settings too, it's not there.

The iOS 11 task switcher is miles better than before, but actual multitasking, I expected much more compared to the Mini, considering 4Gb vs 1Gb. There's still a lot of reloading of stuff.

I got the Logitech Slim Combo keyboard, and while I'm not used to the backrest - I liked this aspect in the Logitech keyboard on the Mini more, it just magnetically set the tablet in viewing position - the keyboard itself is fantastic. Near desktop quality typing. Backlit too. Not requiring manual charge and turning on/off is also a big plus.

I didn't get a pencil, I don't draw and I don't see any use for it.

I have the iPad Pro gen 1. A while back I noticed my battery was just not holding up very well. I turned off the "auto brightness" and my battery life came back to super. Hmmmm

Hmm yah usually I never used auto brightness but it seems to work well with this new iPad and that way when I am in dark it actually can tone it down for me, so essentially its a lot more effecient than before and therefore is increasing my battery life. Ive become quite the fan of auto brightness I even turned it on for my iPhone 7.

I wish I could set it to power down the cell radio completely while on WiFi. At least in iOS 11 it's really quick to toggle the cellular data on and off.

Got mine on Tuesday with 83% battery. I'm at 18% now and think that will last me until tomorrow morning and that's with using it every day for a while! Battery life seems much better then my air 2.

Omg my Air 2 was ***** compared to this Pro. Day 3 and this INCREDIBLE notice the remaining battery life and sot and shout out to Safari for not draining resources like some other browsers...I wont name names.

On my new 12.9, I'm sitting at 16 hrs, 51 minutes usage, 72 hours standby, and I have 9% battery left. So looks like an 18 hour usage charge. Bluetooth was on the whole time with Apple Pencil connected, and in fact the Pencil was fully charged from the iPad battery as well. Brightness at about 35-40%. Pretty amazing. On my previous generation Pro, also a 12.9, I had been getting 14 hours and change lately without Bluetooth and Pencil use.

Here
All the reviews stated that the iPad Pro 10.5 lasted about 45 minutes longer in battery test, so I would assume marginally better battery life than the iPad Pro 9.7"

Yes, battery life is extremely impressive. Ive been using it in class, taking notes in the bear app for 6 hours and had 60% battery left.
