So far we only have cheap third party cases on Amazon.

Eh... At least we start with one that I would not want. :D

I am not ordering my 10.5" until I decide on a decent case. I want a case with a pencil holder.

edit:
I ordered the 10.5" and a pencil and it will be here in a few days. Still not have decided on a decent temp case.

The Apple Sleeve looks great and has a pencil holder. But it's so expensive. I'm so tempted though.

Yea, what the heck? The smart case for my Ipad air 2 was $80 and now the cases for the pro are even more expensive. It looks good but no thanks.
 
I saw that case too - but I wanted something that would allow for the Smart Cover.
 
I ordered a $9 Moko smart cover case that has really good reviews for the version on past iPads... It will get me by until I find something I really like that holds the pencil too.

All I want is a clear plastic case to use with the Smart Keyboard and yet nothing thus far. First time it seems manufacturers weren't even bothering betting on the size etc.
 
Grabbed the Moko case just to have something for when my iPad is delivered, but hoping Incipio releases their cases soon as that's what I usually go with.

Surprised they don't have them on their site yet. Shows a banner for the 10.5 cases, but just gives the option to sign up for "updates"

I have seen a single TPU back cover of assumably bad quality on German Amazon. Unfortunately, it'll be released on 6/30...
Not even one additional back cover with support for the ASK.

Moko case for the 10.5 iPad Pro (ordered on Amazon). I ordered Space Gray and here are some pics with 9.7 iPads.

They have a TPU one that IS compatible with the smart keyboard, per their docs, but NOT compatible with the smart cover? That doesn't make sense.

I wondered this myself, too, and asked them (Moko) earlier on Facebook. Their response:

"the cutout is actually designed to fit iPad Pro official smart keyboard rather than Apple smart cover"

This is very odd that Apple would make a different cutout for the Smart Cover and keyboard. However, one user on Amazon.com (Source) bought a Poetic TPU case, with a cutout, and it didn't work with their Apple iPad Pro 10.5 Smart Cover. [The attaching portion of the Smart Cover is longer than the keyboard.] [Edit: I think another user has demonstrated that this is not the case, as the Smart keyboard and Smart Cover have the same attachment portions. However, I cannot find the post to link.]
