Hello folks!

Since I updated my iPad Pro 10.5 to iOS 11, every time I wake up my iPad I have to wait like 4 or 5 seconds for it to respond to my gestures or open an app. Do you guys have the same problem? iOS11 has been a piece of junk really, Apple needs to take care of the software experience otherwise they will end up loyal customers like me.

You might want to erase the device and set it up again. Maybe without a backup, from scratch.

Sorry, I do that with every new device and have not noticed degrading performance over time. What I do believe often happens is that an old backup introduces problems when re-applying it to a new device or OS.

Could have something to do with the apps you are running. Waiting a few seconds after startup is not the end of the world.

I’ve been using mostly stock apps like Safari and Video apps. It is not the end of the world but it seems backwards as I’ve never faced that issue on iOS before on such a new hardware.

I have had the same issue as well...

I have had no problems since I updated too iOS 11 now on iOS 11.02

Downloading 11.1 beta 5 to check if it still happens. Will report any changes.
[doublepost=1508805442][/doublepost]Issue sill occurs in the 11.1 beta 5.

I don’t have this problem at all. I put my finger to unlock with Touch ID and it’s usable instantly. If absolutely nothing fixes it, it’s very possible it’s a hardware problem.
