I returned this 10.5 pro to Best Buy yesterday. These appeared after about 5 hours of initial use...just posting in case others have had the same issue (hopefully this is an isolated incident - lines were also present on boot/logo screen)...
Very interesting and directly in the area that has been plagued by the yellow tint.......I keep checking this forum in hopes someone says the screen issue is addressed...I think the 10.5" display is Apples worst yet in terms of quality.

I had this happen to my new iPad as well, except the lines went up the half the screen. I also returned it to the store. I'm not sure if this was a sensor defect, lcd detect, or I wondered if it could have my new case.
Thanks for the information. I'm just glad it happened on day five, so I was still able to return it to the Walmart (only bought it their because ebates was offering 12% cash back). They didn't have any in stock at the store, so I yet to reorder another one. I wonder if this will be a common issue with 10.5 iPad. This will be my third apple product and the previous two still work (I touch 2nd generation and iPad retina 4). I've always believed that Apple has good quality products and if they're is a problem with the device it will show up within the first couple of months.
