I am using a Apple USB C to lightning cable and running 12.1 and my iPad Pro will not charge all the way. This is very odd as it used to charge up quickly and fully. Now I leave it on the charger and come back and its still on 85% or 90ish. Any tips?

It clearly is a software bug. Reboot your iPad and it will charge just fine.

I've had to do that each day it seems. Now I'm using the normal USB A Apple lightning cable and a smaller adapter and its charging normally. It's definitely a software bug. I just don't want to do a full restore

Same thing happened on my iPad 10.5” too. With both Apple as well as UGreen 30W chargers. Yesterday it happened with my iPhone X where it just refused to start to charge till I power cycled it.

I’m using an Anker USB-C fast charger and an Apple cable and never had an issue. Always charges to 100%

I'm using the same. 30W Anker USB C with Apple USB C to lightning cable.

Same here, using normal charger, not exceeding 94%. Very annoying. Since 2 weeks or so, before 12.1 came out though.

I had this issue earlier this year with my 2017 iPad Pro and couldn't figure out what was causing it. In the end it got sorted after I allowed the iPad's battery to run down fully so that it shut down, followed by a full, uninterrupted recharge. Haven't had the problem since.

Same problem w/my iPad Pro 10.5” (2017) using Nekteck 4-port USB-C charger and genuine Apple Lightning-to-USB-C cable. Goes up to 93% but then it doesn’t increase any further (even though it shows a green battery indicating it’s charging).

Similar problem here with my iPad Pro 10.5" using the included Apple charger. Charges to 95% and stops all the time. I've had some luck after rebooting, but it goes back to topping out at 95% again after a short time (until I reboot again).
