hi everyone, does anyone here with pro 10.5 updated to ipadOS 14.5? How was the performance?

My ipad works really great in 13, until i decided to update to 14.0.1 last year, that update bricked my ipad, random reboot every 3-5 minutes (checked analytics, it was the "stacks thermal monitor"), as my country only have apple reseller store, and i bought the ipad second hand, US unit.

I asked local service center and they said it was the machine issue (which is weird, because a day before i update to 14.0.1, my ipad runs buttery smooth), So I decided to wait for the next update, hoping it was the OS issue, not hardware. Weeks later, 14.0.2 released, i updated, and boom, it never reboot again, and runs fine (not great, performance was sluggish, battery draining slightly faster, i noticed crazy battery drain and heating up when playing simple 2d games like simcity), but still better than random rebooting. I've been holding up updates after that.

So, pro 10.5 owners, do you have any issues after updating to 14.5?

Thank you

thank you everyone, I updated mine, and thankfully, no issues yet so far, i noticed slight fps drop on some of the games i play, but i'll wait until the app updated to support 14.5, and need to see if the battery life is improving or not.

Hello, I have iPad with iOS 13.6.1. Perform is good, battery could be better, but 2 days is OK. My question: Can I update on 14.7 withotu isses? any experience with performance vs battery?
