Looking on Amazon (UK) or eBay UK can't seem to find any smart cover apart from genuine Apple ones. They all have translucent backs, or extra bits to cover the back or whole thing.

I just want the same as Apple smart cover, snap on to cover the front. I know I can buy genuine but obviously more and I like a few different colours so would be expensive.

Anyone found any?
Thanks

I haven't found ANY non-Apple smart covers for ANY iPad produced AFTER the iPad 4 (starting with the iPad Air). It has something to do with the new "hinge" that is required due to the different edge of the iPad.

Come to think yeh you're right. Why though? Other manufactures seem to be able to make everything wider why not these? Unless also a copyright issue?

Ok I'll have to buy an Apple as my preferred use is a skin on back and a smart cover on

I think it is a trademark issue. That is what I do, my 12.9 iPad Pro with an Apple smart cover and a clear skin on the back.

Best way for looks and portability I think. Easy to remove the case and use. Do I use a screen protector as well or not?

Wonder if I should get the leather or silicone smart cover, again local shop has some used for leather and silicone at £25. Not sure if the leather will look too worn and greasy though compared to the silicone which can be wiped clean easy?

i recently applied a matte screen protector on mine. not only did it cut down on glare and fingerprints, but it made using the Apple Pencil more enjoyable.

I couldnt find an exact replica either when I was looking for mine. I finally caved in and got the original one from apple. I have four other cases for my iPad but they just sit and collect dust cause I love the smartcover so much!
