I m btw a Smart Cover and a Smart Keyboard.. or both? The question is.. I noticed in the store that the Smart Keyboard feels kind of heavy compared to the Smart Cover..

How does that translate in a day to day use? Do you just take it off while using it or buy a Smart Cover for the days you won't need a Keyboard?

I used to fold the Smart Cover back while using it, and the Smart Keyboard seems to make uncomfortable to use like that

I fold my Smart Keyboard back when not using it and that's comfortable for me. While it's heavier than the Smart Cover it's not heavy to me. Though to be honest I usually stand my iPad up using the keyboard to use it as it's convenient.

Smart Keyboard cover user here. Keyboard out for work/productivity use, otherwise folded back for pure tablet mode, or in’triangle’ stand mode for video watching in the kitchen. The in built magnets help help the keyboard folded in when using the cover folded back behind the tablet.

Not found the weight to be in issue over and above the plain Smart Cover I had on my previous non-pro iPad.

Can you show me a picture of what you mean by "or in’triangle’ stand mode for video watching in the kitchen" please? Thanks.

Conventional ‘vertical’ stand mode as you can do with a non-keyboard Smart Cover. Tend to think of this as ‘triangle mode’ not only with the way the cover folds, but also if you re-orient the iPad with the keyboard cover like this so the iPad glass can be typed onto, the iPad forms a triangle with the desk.

I use my Pro with Smart Keyboard with this vertical orientation when watching YouTube, Netflix etc in the kitchen whilst preparing food.
