iPad Pro 10.5 Smart Keyboard Not Sitting Flat

I just received my iPad Pro and the new Smart Keyboard cover and am a little disappointed because the Smart Keyboard Cover does not sit flat which causes it to bounce any time I type. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?

I just got my 10.5" Pro today. The ASK lies completely flat. It's a pleasure to type on. I'm sure you've checked, but any chance you're using it wrong? (I had to go to YouTube to figure out how to use it as a cover. 😳) If not, sounds like a defective keyboard.
