Yup. Agree. Best Buy can be flaky with price matches. Staples had $150 "coupon" instant for iPads air 2 a few weeks ago. So 16gb $499 iPad Air 2 was $349 and 64gb iPad Air 2 wifi normally $599 was $449.
But Best Buy manager refused to price match it cause he said too many people went in and got price matches. I guess after X amount of price matches it triggers something in Best Buy system to stop honoring price matches and start making lame excuses.
His excuse was "staples was using $150 instant coupon ". So the word coupon means Best Buy doesn't have to honor it.
My best experience with that was a $50 MasterCard gift card on a $100 purchase typo from a couple of years back. That was the first time I saw them shut down deals. I think they started be more restrictive on the price matching after that as well.
