im wondering if any of you came across a slim case that’s also pencil friendly. Meaning it has an opening for the pencil to magnetically charge?

Ugh I’m in the same market for one of these. Just want something slim that provides good corner support.

Would also like it to allow cheating the pencil without removing it from the case.

Looks like the smart function has been fixed but you need to remove the case to charge the pencil

I guess we will we cases designed to allow the pencil to charge and store it. Hopefully soon.

On a side note, how long should the pencil hold a charge? I noticed when mines not connected it's dead in about 24 hours. Is that normal or did I get a bad one?

It’s not so much the need to have it connected, but I’d like to be able to charge the pencil without needing to take the case off.

Gotcha. Tucano had something like that for the MBP, a sleeve that was zipped but still allowed you to charge your MBP.

I would put it in a sleeve and lay it flat while charging.

I'm not familiar with the company. You can try and see if you like it. Photos looks nice.
I have their pencil case and I love it. their customer service has been very responsive also. So I plan to order as soon as it becomes available

This is the case I've been looking for. I have their case with pencil holder and am very happy with it. I've emailed them as in when this one will be available.

The Ztotop is the one I bought; I wanted one to have ready at launch; I didn't dare take this out of the store without a case. (As it is, I still feel almost feel wary of touching the iPad.)

The case is nice and thin; the magnets seem to be holding well. However, the iPad doesn't wake upon opening. That doesn't really bother me; at that price, I'll tap it if need be. I've also invested in an ASK as well, and that's what I've got on the Ipad most of the time.
