Tablet UI mode in 1/2 split view. Don't think that matters for photo editing/art, though.Just like with big and extra big iPhone screens, there is nothing the 12.9 can do that the 11 can’t.

Would the 11 inch iPad have no split view, or what is the difference here?Tablet UI mode in 1/2 split view. Don't think that matters for photo editing/art, though.
It does have split view, but the UI on the 11 may be stripped down depending on app.what is the difference here?

Okay, seems like a non-issue as long as the UI is thought through by the devs
You used to just get the Phone UI layout on earlier iOS versions. I just checked Safari on the 10.5 and it seems like situation has been improved on iPadOS 13 at least.
Does that include the split keyboard?Tablet UI mode in 1/2 split view. Don't think that matters for photo editing/art, though.
Hmm, it seems Safari might be a special case. The visual design guidelines for 7.9" - 11" iPads all show "compact width, regular height" for 1/2 split view.So after the introduction of iPad OS 13 does the iPad Pro 11" still uses iPhone UI in split screen mode ? Can someone confirm this ?

Safari's pretty much the only app I use in 1/2 split view on smaller displays, though. For the other stuff I do, the bigger 12.9" display is just much more useful.
Do you have a sketch pad? What size is it? If it's letter/A4 size or bigger, then the 12.9" iPP is in the same ballpark size-wise.Frustrating as I see the clear advantages of the 12.9 but also it seems cumbersome unless used say, on a table/desk top. The 11" Pro does feel superior for on the go use or perhaps in a lap in a chair etc. I am interested in using Affiniti Photo and Design along with a couple of other art programs and also want to do school work as well. My details are as follow for anyone who would like to give their own experience or advice please do -
