Hi all just got the new iPad 12.9 pro (2018) model and noticed when I rotate the iPad I get a creeky sound from the back and it comes mostly where the pencil magnet area is well that side.

The rest of the iPad does not do this just at that certain point and wondered if anyone has the same problem and if it's normal.

Any info would be great as I don't know if I should return it.

Bound to have a few defective models out there on a mass produced item but that’s why we have AppleCare, definitely one of the better warranties out there as well

It hasn’t been out long enough to require paid AppleCare.

Yep it's coming from the back from the side most to the Apple Pencil connector all the way across. It's like a sticky sound when you put pressure onto it you can hear it and then when you release it does it again almost like something is not sticking right inside and the pressure of holding it is pushing onto it.

Think I will take it back. Also I noticed the power button has a slight rattle to has anyone noticed that as the volumes buttons seem nice and tight but the power button has a looses rattle feel,to,it

Thanks.

yep, it`s going back today as the shop versions don't do it and for the price it should be perfect.
