Hi Guys,

I'm new and here's my first time posting on this Forum seeking some professional advise. I've been a large follower on this Forum and a huge fan of all things Mac related.

Recently, I've gotten the new iPad Pro 12.9 which has been an absolute wonderful device. However, been a very detailed person. I notice this discovery lately which I notice on my display. Upon a complete white image or background, the display shows mild signs of flicker. Not to the extend that it irritates the eye or to the level that one will think that it needs to be replace.

Can i ask if anyone here notice this too? It seems most obvious at the top right hand corner of the display when held in portrait mode. The flicker is subtle and consistent against the white backdrop.

Here from you guys!

No such thing happening on my 12.9”.

I would head to a nearby Apple store and let them check it up. These devices are too expensive to accept any flaws in my opinion, even if they’re tiny. They might just take it in and give you a brand new one.

Anyone else experience my encounter? Of course the flicker is subtle which therefore requires close observation.

I haven’t noticed that and I’ve been using mine non stop. I’d take it in to get looked at.

Thanks for sharing! I do think its a real minor issue that I could possibly live with.

If this is a visible defect, why live with it? Just go to return.

Well here's the thing, I notice it on the display sets in the store too.

So help me out by observing closely and see if you are able to see subtle light flickers against an all white background. The flickers are so subtle that it looks like mild growing. It seems to be happening in more than one spot.

I think it's just a problem with the refresh rate. I've had the same problem. PS has anyone seen the third colour iPad. In the "change" commercial, there is a white (not silver) iPad that is distinct from the silver one I was looking forward to it.
