I have an iPad Pro 12.9 inch 2nd gen, running iOS 14.2.
My screen frequently just freezes for about 5 seconds, touch screen doesn't respond to anything. Never experienced that with any previous version of iOS.
Anyone else experiencing this ?

Yes - lots of us have that with the 12.9 second gen - been having that myself since iOS 12

It seems to come and go - inconsistently

There are quite a few threads about this here on these forums

Yup hardware related. I had my first gen 2 12.9 replaced under AppleCare+ a year ago and now this replacement unit is doing the same thing and getting progressively worse.

Widespread problem in this forum. Happened to mine as well. Sold it and got a 3rd gen 12.9". No problems since!

No crashes on my second gen 12.9, only one app crash since my update to 14.2 since retail release.

I don’t think we’re discussing app crashing, but the iPad being unresponsive to touches.
Mis-read something and got a topic confused, despite that, I had thought all second gen 12.9's all had some sort of touch sensitivity issue. Comes and goes on mine but it's actually behaved for the past few months.
