iPad Pro 12.9 Discounts?

Hello everyone. I am new to MacRumors. Have been browsing the forums for quite some time, and finally decided to make an account. I’ve noticed that the 10.5 iPad Pro has been having quite a few sales recently, however the 12.9 (2nd gen) seem to be getting no discounts? I know BB had an awesome sale a couple months ago with $150 off and a free Apple Pencil. Any chance of any more sales between now and Christmas?

No one on the outside knows for sure, but given past history and the natural draw of the shopping season, I don't think we'll see another sale on the 12.9 Pro until sometime in Feb 2018.

The 12.9 is currently $100 off on BB. I don't think it's going to go lower than that during cyber Monday: I was hopping to see the $150 off with the free Apple pencil popping up somewhere.

Yeah, that's not going to happen again any time soon. Most likely, the next opportunity for that kind of deal will be late Feb/early March of '18.

That sale was crazy. I honestly think it was a system mistake. I got a current model year 12.9 Pro for $550 and the next day sold my 2015 for $500 on Craigslist. $50 upgrade is absurd.

650 is what best buy has some open boxed of 12.9 right now. I was so close to snagging one before but I'm going to wait another year or two since the new X camera system will more than likely be in an upcoming iPad release.

Thanks guys. I suppose I’ll go ahead and jump on the $100 off at BB. Really wish I would’ve gotten the $150 off with Apple Pencil earlier but I’ll definitely take what I can get!
