iPad Pro iPad Pro 13” M4 Magic Keyboard leaves permanent horizontal line on screen

This really isn't much different than the MacBooks getting imprints. I have the Magic Keyboard for my iPad but, I do not travel with the iPad connected to the keyboard. If you wish to travel with the two together, put a sheet of paper between the two.

After spending almost $2600 on both, there is no way I would risk messing up the screen, especially when AC+ wouldn't cover the cosmetic damage.

It hasn't bothered me enough to go into apple yet to get the screen replaced. But I will one day after the screen cracks accidentally and just pay the screen damage fee under AppleCare+

Can confirm this happens on M5 with MKB also.

I actually almost never use the touchscreen and use iPad as a laptop replacement. When there is slight amount of water (when cleaning it with damp cloth) or oil on the screen, the line is quite visible. However when the water evaporates, it's completely invisible (even against bright light). Adding to the strangeness... you can feel the line with a fingernail.

Isopropyl alcohol doesn't remove it.
