hello guys,

I bought an iPad Pro 13-inch M5 a few days ago. While setting it up, I noticed that the display looks very yellow.
I compared my iPad Pro 13-inch M5 with my girlfriend’s iPad Pro 11-inch M5, and her iPad’s display does not appear as yellowish. White looks truly white, and the display seems a bit brighter with more vibrant colors.
My iPad Pro 13-inch M5 looks very yellow and not as bright.
Both True Tone and Night Shift are disabled.
I found out that my girlfriend’s iPad Pro 11-inch M5 uses a Samsung panel (G9L), while my iPad Pro 13-inch M5 has an LG panel (GH3).
I have also attached a few photos.
Is the display on my iPad Pro 13-inch M5 defective?

It is not defective. It is just a difference in panels. Some are warmer than others. No way to get every panel the same.

The best way to check is to use your iPad as you normally would for several days. If you should see that the colors ae off and or the iPad shows its colors regardless of what you are doing on the iPad, I would say return and repurchase. On the other hand, fretting over an iPad that doesn't display poorly with normal use will do nothing buy keep you frustrated.
