iPad Pro iPad Pro 2020 Order Status

After spending some time in China, it moved moved quickly when it got to the States and was delivered earlier today. Order was placed on 3/29 and it was the 11" iPad Pro 128. Apple originally had a deliver date of 4/15-4/17 when I ordered

I believe I ordered mine on March 30th and it shipped on the 2nd. I don't remember when it when to preparations, but it must have been much shorter than you've been waiting.

I ordered mine on 4/1. It was processing until 4/6 when UPS picked it up. It's been hanging out in Zheng Zhou since the 7th.

Ironically, my iPad had it's shipment process start the same day I wrote this post. It arrived earlier today, April 10.

I never use iCloud so used a USB 3->USB C cable to connect to my mid-2015 MBP (it doesn't have USB C ports). It went very smoothly and is still downloading in the background.

I hadn't realized that it comes with 1 free year of Apple TV+ -- this is a nice extra!

That's freaking fast! Very jealous. I wish I'd realized when I bought it that it probably wouldn't be shipping from within North America.

maybe it depends on the model ordered. I do not know. all this waiting time seems strange to me. perhaps they are waiting to supply European warehouses
 
The ipad has arrived in anchorage which means it was definitely on UPS99 (https://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS99). For those of you who seem to be in the same boat (in a manner of speaking), it would seem that most CONUS-bound devices fly to Louisville next hop. The next Anchorage-to-Louisville flight is UPS105, scheduled to take off within the next couple of hours (https://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS105). From there, based on other forum members, it should quickly make its way to you.

BLAH! That sucks, sorry.

If you scroll down a bit on the FlightAware page you can see some of the flight history — if it follows the same schedule as the past few weeks it will fly again on Sunday (Incheon-local time).

128 Space Grey WIFI. I placed the order the 23rd of March. You can find my shipping information a page or two back. It was very similar to most people on here. I got a notification that it shipped April 1st, so it took ten days from when it shipped to when I actually received it.

Mine updated as they were scanned. Not sure why mine is being held in Louisville Ky. I did get a notice from Apple saying there is a delay.

I ordered my 11” 512gb in silver on 27 March. I think it was 3 days processing, preparing to ship for a few more. It was picked up/shipped from a DHL facility in Chengdu on 3 April and hasn’t been scanned since. No arrival scan or anything 🤷🏻‍♀️ It was originally supposed to be delivered on 9 April, but when it was shipped it changed to the 14th. I don’t think it will arrive on the 14th.

I’ve called Apple and DHL and neither were able to assist by providing an ETA. It’s being shipped to Sydney Australia. The DHL website has a page detailing the delays and it stated northern hemisphere countries were delayed 1-4 days on average, however delays for Australia were 9 days.
 
JUST placed my order for my 11" 512gb wifi space grey pro. has a delivery date of 16-20 april..... sigh.....

i'm going to wait til sunday and order my pencil since it would come the 14th if i ordered it right now.

haven't decided on the current keyboard or waiting for the fancy new cantilevered one in may...????

ordered a screen protector from amazon and it won't deliver PRIME until 2 may! sheesh!

OK.... dumb question, i know.... it'a $1000 item.... but are these coming signature required? I don't wanna touch mr. ups' pen or signy thingy.....

Very happy to report that both my Pencil and iPad arrived today - the Pencil shipped a day earlier via FedEx - was worried there for a bit that it’d be a few more days - once they hit state side I had them within a day!

Really neat that you can use a Lighting to USB-C cable to use the Magic Trackpad 2 wired (and charge it up at the same time).

I've heard some of the delivery people aren't requiring a signature, just a chat and verbal confirmation. But there is an option on the UPS website to sign for it online, once you get the tracking info.

I ordered a screen protector (Tech armor) off Amazon.ca, it had a delivery date of May 2nd WITHOUT prime, and it came 2 days later.

I ordered on March 22 - based on the timings almost everyone else provided, I'm not sure that's fast since it looks like the time for mine likely included some "hidden" mass shipment to the US...

I found out why my package was held in Louisville Ky. Someone called (Anonymous) to hold packages, or be put in quarantine because of the coronavirus. REALLY, people just have too much time on their hands to be calling UPS about packages coming from China.
