Really bad timing, i’m going on a plane in four hours. Just woke up, took up my ipad (2021 11” pro) from the side of the bed, as is my morning routine.

And, it’s dead. It worked fine six hours ago. It was fully charged. I tried a soft and hard reset.

Absolutely no response. Any suggestions??

Plug it into your Mac / PC and see if Music / iTunes recognises it as a device.
Though it's not inconceivable that it's just simply failed, because these things happen on devices where critical circuitry is the size of a gnat's gonads. Millions are sold, and there's bound to be a few lemons. That's why you have consumer rights. Hopefully plugging it into your computer will force it to wake/reboot.

Nope, didn't work. Very infuriating having this happen just before a trip. Hope a replacement device is fast.

Okay, super, super strange. All of a sudden just before I was leaving I tried a hard reset (for like the 10th time) and all of a sudden it just.. worked? So now it's on (with a 100% charge). I have no idea what happened.
