Hello all

my iPad 9.7 pro charging indicator is blinking randomly when not plugged in. I brought it in for a diagnostic but of course it couldn’t be reproduced. The tech said that the battery was great and nothing popped up. I had this repaired once when it stopped charging completely but he said was not the case. The iOS is updated.

I’ve tried googling for a solution but have been unable to find it.

I am having issues understanding what you mean. The charging icon in the menu bar is what you’re referring to? Or the indicator when the device is locked?

See if you can reproduce it and then swap the cable or the charger to see if the issue persists.

it’s not plugged into a cable. It’s flashing

This may make more sense. It’s not plugged in at all
