iPad Pro 9.7 ordered / Waiting for delivery

They brought me my 6s on launch, and like you I was worried! I usually have UPS and heard the awful UK Mail reviews but they do offer decent tracking and 1 hour slots. And for me they were okay! Remember they want to please Apple, if loads of people get missed deliveries etc then they will loose the very lucrative contract to deliver Apple products, they will be falling over themselves to please you

Same, and although it is frustrating I have faith in Apple. They haven't let me done so far! Have your credit cards been charged yet? Mine isn't in support profile but the card has been charged, so that's a good sign.

It means a real physical iPad has been assigned to you personally and therefore is going to ship iminantly. In reality it probably has already left Apple's hands when it appears in the support profile.

Found my tracking number from UPS tracking by reference even though apple still says "preparing for shipment." The iPads are currently in Harrisburg, PA at least for East Coast delivers.

Maybe I can make you all feel better. I stayed up until 2 AM on Mar 24 and ordered mine from Apple hoping to receive my order on Launch Day, as I did my current iPad. I ordered four 32GB Rose Gold units with engraving. From the time of the order, my delivery date has been Apr 7 - Apr 11. The lag seems ridiculous for shipping to TX.

I believe in the past, engraving something would cause additional delay. Not sure if that's still the case or not, but that's a bummer. :/

My fault, I should have posted this in the iPhone SE waiting thread, however it's .90 lbs but no phone number. Just a bunch of reference numbers. I highly doubt the accuracy of what I'm seeing. Next Day Air is my delivery method and I think it's basing it off the fact the label was created yesterday.

I was billed for my iPad this morning however I haven't received any updates as far as tracking information yet.

Looks like my iPad Pro is sitting in Tennessee according to UPS. I'm near Atlanta, so it is pretty close by. Hopefully UPS delivers it early on Thursday. I really don't want to have it sitting outside in the rain while I'm at work...

For the record... the shipment had my phone number as a reference as well. Shipping Label Printed, no pickup recorded yet! I do have a serial number assigned on Support Profile. In Toronto, ordered at 3:05 am or so on day one

Actually looking at the tracking number this time I do see my phone number, I was able to bring it up by searching for it by reference. Not that it means much I'm sure.
