iPad Pro 9.7 ordered / Waiting for delivery

FedEx tracking finally came up. Thanks, AT&T. March 31st my azzzzz. Now April 1st. Plus, the order that had been cancelled ships anyways. Now, I'm getting two now, both late. The usual incompetence I expect from AT&T.

That blows. Check target for in store pick up in your area. That's how I'm getting mine. I've ordered and just waiting on the "it's ready!" email.

Target isn't selling any of the cellular models in store. I could buy a wifi only version but wanted to give the cellular version a go for the first time. What sucks is I would lose a 10% discount(5 for the red card and 5 from a coupon) by canceling the order though tax hadn't been charged to the order at all and if it did, the savings would be a lot lower.

I have to say I placed the order 8 minutes after the pre-order was available.
I reached their Live Chat rep on Friday but the answer he gave me was a bit dumb: The pre-order system is completely automatised so there is no way for them to know what's my order # in the queue, so no idea when mine would be shipped. I used the "live chat" feedback to complaint about this, quoting amazon on how great pre-orders are on other items (as long as you place the pre-order, you are guaranteed an unit on launch day or before).
Now lo and behold I got a follow up mail today due to my complaint, but it was even more disheartening, the guy said "we're sorry blah blah... there are a couple shipments arriving on the second week of April and we hope to deliver them ASAP". Second week as in next week? Shipments arriving to their warehouse so late for a pre-order? Means if 10k people pre-ordered in those 7 minutes before mine I'll have to wait till May?
I don't know, this whole deal sucks and hearing about people basically getting shipments from Apple as we speak doesn't help...
I just sincerely hope this little NY Store is not that well known and there are only a few of us who ordered that way. I usually do it because it's the only place where I can order Apple products at regular price, with no tax, with my international credit card, shipped to my freight forwarder.

Update, my ipad pro keyboard which just came in from alaska a couple of hours ago is out delivery! my actual ipad pro in ups' possession since 2 days ago is not... Fingers crossed. (Toronto)

Same here. All I need is the unit itself!

Tracking says my iPad is out for delivery. Mine says Signature Required, but I won't be home. However, our housekeeper is in today doing the cleaning and laundry. I told her to sign for it. :D

I ordered my silicon case on the 28th and it took forever to ship. But I won't get the case until tomorrow. :(

As for my iPad it shows delivery by end of day. It originally showed delivery 9am to 12:30pm. :(
 
This is for the keyboard, which was showing delayed delivery to 4/4. Incredible how quickly these things move, from just yesterday in HK..

Ugh, I went by UPS to pick mine up on the way to work, but the rep said that it wasn't ready for pickup (it hadn't been processed in, yet). She said it would probably be after 10 am before it was ready for pickup. I headed back to work and saw that it was ready 10 minutes after I left. I should have known better and hung out there for a bit. Oh well, I'll try again at lunch. Glad to see that people are getting their new iPads. Fun!
 
Mine missed the Out for delivery Scan and went right to Delivered. Now I just have to wait for it to make its way through our Mailroom so I can grab it. Soon!!

I hear you, same as mine. At&t sends me email saying item is backordered, then shipped. Of course they don't do it until middle of the night so delivery tomorrow, when they have had 10 days to prepare, they are a couple of hours late so delayed a day.
