This seems so silly.

Rather than flesh out the OS to support the IDEA of being able to replace a laptop (ability to run actual applications for productivity) they release a smaller version of a device that can't compete with laptops to begin with.

Apple never had the intentions of releasing a Pro model that stepped on the real computer as they must protect their line of Macs and MacBooks.
