Oh man. So got my new iPad Pro from the Apple Store earlier. Come home to set it up. First of all, after trying to transfer from my older iPad it was interrupted by a software update. Then refused to scan the weird dot circle thing again so just decided to go manual. Wouldn't recognise I use a different Apple ID for the App Store, then somehow reset the password on my normal Apple ID! Then I get locked out the App Store completely despite giving it all the evidence it was me and now need to wait for Apple to hopefully decide it's me tomorrow and call me!
Two things, one the Mac it asked if you use a different ID for the App Store and why in the name of all is holy haven't they allowed us to merge Apple IDs yet?!
(I used some pretty sketchy justification to get this and now I'm feeling that buyer's remorse! 🤪)
