For those of you that have the Apple case for iPad Pro, does it completely cover the chrome along the bezel for you? I tried looking at some pics online and it seems like it's supposed to, however, mine does not. Just want to check and see if mine is fitting correctly and if I should swap out for another one. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Right I'm tracking what the gap on the left side is for. It's the other three sides where there is chrome showing...wondering if that's normal or not.

Interesting...might have to swap mine out then. Thanks for sharing.

My silicone case does not completely cover chrome bezel too.. Maybe half mm or less but chrome bezel is exposed all sides.. Of course i know there is a dedicated area at left side for smart cover.. I'm talk about other three sides..

So, i thought it's normal until your message but now i'm confused...

Do you mean, is the silver or space-grey chamfered metal rim visible on the face of the iPad in the silicone case? If so, then yes, it shows a little bit. But it shouldn't look like it's terribly exposed, in that there is a ~2-3 mm lip of silicone above it that for something to harm it would have to be fairly specifically angled. You're not going to ding it just bumping into things.

So if it looks like that, you're fine.

On the other hand, if you mean the cut-out on the left side, that's for attaching a cover of some sort (Smart Cover, Smart Keyboard, etc.).

Yep I was just referring to the chrome along the edges (not the left hand side with the smart connector). If that seems to be the normal consensus that chrome is exposed I guess I'll live with it. Just seems a little "un-Apple like" for lack of uniformity around the entire bezel (corners are completely covered, edges...not so much). Thanks for the feedback and would be curious to know if others are seeing the same thing.

I don't see silver on those 3 sides.

And I adore the silicone case. So well made and quite protective. I appreciate the lip as that helps protect the screen and the corners in case of a fall.

Hmm...maybe it's worth a trip and see if they'll let me slip another one on and check it out.

Well. I should say the I can't perceive any silver. :)

But seriously, as expensive as the silicone case is you should be completely satisfied so definitely take it in.

Went to replace it this afternoon and customer service looked at me like I was crazy when I explained it to them (not an Apple Store). Eventually they let me open another one and try it out and while I can still see chrome, it is much more uniform around all sides. The previous case just didn't look right and was uneven all around. This one looks fine though...there is minimal chrome along the edges and looks as it should.

Hooray!

Hi there, the current case I am using is the Poetic Turtle Skin, I enjoy the flexibility of the silicone case and the price point falls within my budget. Maybe it is a considerable option for you as well. It is pretty handy especially if you have kids like I do :)
