It seems as if every day, at least once, my ASK for iPad Pro 10.5” abruptly stops working. It is as if the keyboard isn’t recognized.

Anyone else have this issue? Is there a fix?

Mine works perfectly. But... I have both size iPad pros and they were replaced over 3 times each and their ASK was replaced just as many times until it got ones that worked. From my experience there are definitely issues with the ASK. I would get it replaced under warranty if I were you.

Yes! I’m having the same problem - the Smart Keyboard will stop responding, but it is somehow still detected by the iPad (i.e., the on-screen keyboard won’t appear until I unplug the Smart Keyboard).

The worst part is I already had the keyboard replaced because of the earlier software bug that was allegedly fixed with an iOS update not too long ago, where the Smart Keyboard would similarly stop responding when joining certain WiFi networks.

Is it hardware-based this time around? Worth another trip to the Apple store?

Wow. Sorry to hear about these continued problems with the ASK. :( It's almost as if the first production batch back in 2015 were the good ones... and after that, problems.
