Are there only a certain number of games if bought on the Pro or ATV that you don't have to buy on both?

Meaning if you buy for one, it is for both devices?

I am getting ready to buy a lot of games for my new Pro but don't want to have to buy them for both devices unless I really have to.
I don't purchase many games so the app store for gaming is pretty new to me.

Thanks

It mentions whether or not the ATV version is included in the iTunes descriptions. Some are, some aren't -- same as with Universal for iPad/iPhone vs. separate purchase for each.

I have to look a little closer next time. I only seem to see the Apple Watch information but not iPad vs apple tv vs iPhone.

Thanks for that

Look at the area at the bottom of the app description in iTunes when buying on your iPad, if it says Available for AppleTV: yes, then you won't have to buy it a second time, you'll just download it on the Apple TV for free.

It's easy to miss. I think at some point, as happened with the Watch app screenshots, it'll get it's own section up top and we'll know if there are ATV screenshots, there's an app that's part of the purchase.

I think that is what I was looking for and assumed if there wasn't one that you couldn't. Good point and thank you.

I'll keep a closer eye out, thanks for this!

Do you know any specifically so I can look at them as an example?
