iPad Pro iPad Pro Backup query?

I've just decided to start using iCloud backups as opposed to iTunes backup for my iPad Pro as the Backup is over 80GB and I want to free off my hard drive space. The backup has been running for about 4 hours and says it has approx 7 hours left to run. Will this be the same every time I backup, or once it's done the first backup are future backups much quicker (assuming files haven't changed a great deal)?

Yes, future backups will be quicker as only the files changed from the last backup are backed up. It’s called an incremental backup scheme.
