I can't imagine that Apple is going to put a just released product on sale for Black Friday.

They're making a big mistake if they decide to release it on Black Friday. And of course it'll be full MSRP. This is Apple, folks.

That being said, I'm getting frustrated with no news, no idea of even a release date, preorder, nothing.

Is black Friday in November? It's not Apples style to do that regardless and certainly wouldn't release it at a black friday sale price.

You are dead on. Apple did GC bonuses for everything last year. They'll do the same this year, including the iPad Pro. Probably stick with the $50 number.

The question, then, is if third-party retailers will have discounts. At this point I'm guessing not, mostly because they won't have any stock in the first few weeks. If for some reason a B&M third-party has stock, they'll only discount the base model.
